Nanny recommendation

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately, we are relocating as a family from East Dulwich and we wish to recommend our fabulous nanny who has been with us since our son was 9 months old.

Caroline has been in sole charge of our 2 sons, who were 9 months old and 4 years old when she started. She has been indispensable part of our family during that period, bringing warmth and a beautiful smile every morning.

At the beginning, she was instrumental in encouraging our youngest at 9 months as he was still not sleeping well at night, and not eating well at all. Caroline changed all of this around and within a month he was sleeping and eating happily.

She has a nurturing and warmth that is essential for caring for the youngest of children, as well as a practicality from years of experience. I had no issues from the moment go, with leaving our baby with her.

Caroline is happy to and excellent at cooking kids nutritious meals. Whilst she is nurturing, Caroline is very capable of keeping to house rules for kids, including manners, politeness and any parental request for routine of kids.

In addition, Caroline was attentive to the social needs of our two boys, bringing our youngest to a playgroup daily after dropping off our eldest to school and bringing them both to the playground to have time together after school.

In a nutshell, Caroline is a nurturing, kind, practical nanny with years of experience. I respect her social values and the positive influence she has had on our children. Our two have thrived with her care. We happily recommend her to any family, just send on a pm.

    • I'd recommend CarGiant in White City. Last time I was there 25yrs ago you could sit in all the cars (they were unlocked). An Uber will get you there.... Unlike yrs ago, Forecourt space is now expensive and scarce. You can go on AutoTrader and find stuff like this nearby, but like many others they're not selling from a Forecourt https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202502068806724?sort=relevance&searchId=fdfc8dae-7d57-4ba6-9202-d421254546a6&advertising-location=at_cars&maximum-mileage=45000&minimum-mileage=500&page=6&postcode=SE22 0HZ&price-from=1500&price-to=11000&radius=5&seller-type=trade&transmission=Automatic&fromsra
    • That's very odd. I'm with iD and have had no problems making calls at all. I don't understand the internet issues. They don't provide internet, do they? Do you mean specifically their own website? If so, why on earth don't they get it sorted out?!
    • We used to go to the CPT quite often! I don't remember any red lights over the road! When was this?!
    • But Poundland aren't actually that cheap, are they? I found their toothpaste, for example, was not cheaper unless the amount in the tube was smaller. What are the bargains in there?
