Roofbox - what make

Hello fellow parents

We are thinking about getting a roofbox but wondered whether there are any that you recommend? I'm not sure whether it makes a difference but we have a Mecedes Estate.

We have the thule roof box "bag" which folds up when you arent using it. quite handy.

Yep. Thule. First one weathered 10 Canadian ski seasons, gave to friends when I moved over here and from what I hear, she's still going strong. If you have rails on car already you won't need full fit kit, just the attachments.

We've got a Delphin on our Audi - they fit Mercedes too. It's the biggest one they do and effectively doubles our boot space. We got it because it seemed to have won all the awards. It's certainly well-built and capacious, and you hardly notice it's on there apart from a tiny bit more wind noise.

Another vote for Thule, looks great, doesn't seem to slow us - & no added noise at all (on a Seat Alhambra).

Pebbles, we got ours on ebay - might be worth a look if budget is tight?
