Dogkennelhillbilly
1) There's a context clue in the name of the thread, but if you're still struggling to place him, I think there is a new service on the information superhighway called "The Google" that might assist you.2) "Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps, please" Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1546-famous-people-in-sainsburys/page/23/#findComment-1456815 Share on other sites

Dogkennelhillbilly
Fran Drescher in a stunning Astrakhan black hat, buying coffee at Colicci in Dulwich Park, She'd be mobbed in the US, but was unrecognised here...not even by any Spinal Tap fans. Clutterqueen
Is that a good thing for them? i.e. being unrecognised? Never heard of Fran Drescher. I'm sure they can't wait to get back to the US! Dogkennelhillbilly
I don't know. I imagine the novelty of being approached everywhere you go wears pretty thin after a while, but she seems like quite an extrovert. The Nanny was on US TV seemingly on a loop for many years (and I think it was shown on BBC2 in the after school slot for a bit, but it never really caught on here). He had some chicken in his trolley, and I asked him how he was going to cook it."The Chinese Way" he replied.
