Mondays and Fridays 10-11.30 during term time.Baa baa black sheep.. We're learning all about sheep tomorrow at Muddy Boots. Now then.. sheep are outside in all weather, so no excuses Muddy Booters! Get your raincoats on and come and have some fun making a home made badge out of the Cumbrian sheep wool recently collected from the fells.We'll be learning about sheep and their wool. We'll be feeling, and smelling it, thinking about how its waterproof and what wool is used for. Why is some of the wool pink? And green?!Then we'll be separating it and winding it to make a genuine sheep's wool sheep badge to take home. Dont miss the opportunity to make a very sweet little home made badge!There's also digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden. We have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then we head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.Muddy Boots is hands on, engaging, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve.Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are currently drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.Prices:It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available, siblings under 14m go free.
