And why is that, if you don't mind my asking?

TFL's report concluded it did not prove dangerous for cyclists.

On what bus lanes are electric cars allowed? I am not aware of any. Allowing electric cars would be wrong because electric cars, regardless of how green they are, cause the same congestion of petrol cars, whereas motorcycles do not!

? What comment?

In my experience when one respects the other, it works for all involved. I commute daily on a motorbike into central london and make sure not to stop in the cycle box as well es leaving some room away from the kerb to allow cyclists to move to the front of the queue.

I agree with the north of london bridge being clogged up, but generally by all kind of traffic participants, due to the ongoing building work.

I wouldn't ever wish to tar all with one brush. A lot of motorcyclists are the most accommodating vehicles on the road. And yeah, that building work is a nightmare. And seems to have been going on forever.

Ah 'minorit' of motorbike hating cyclists. Apologies didn't read this, there are so many blanket statements made on this site.

So I am definitely and ass for ass-uming.

EV (electric vehicle) access to bus lanes is being proposed and may already be happening eg in Milton Keynes. And in Norway. Watch this space.

It's going to be absolute carnage on Monday morning going north across London Bridge when the bank intersection is shut to all except buses and cycles !!

So, cars, vans, taxis and lorries are still going to be allowed across the bridge? You're right, the congestion will be horrendous. I carry on up gracechurch street and that'll be so clogged up. I might switch and start going across Tower Bridge- i used to.

Yes - looks like all traffic as normal except effectively all the traffic that would normally head up King William st will need to turn onto Cannon St or around to Gracechurch St. There is a still a lot of building work along Cannon St - that road can't handle the volume of traffic at the moment even while Bank is as usual.

Coming home in peak will be even more horrendous I think. A lot of traffic will divert to Blackfriars Bridge which is already a roadblock much of the time.

The irony is - Bank intersection, IMO, is a relatively free flowing intersection 90% of the time. The last few morning it has been calm and pleasant riding through there.

Someone wrote "Bus Lanes are dedicated to buses to allow free moving public transport."

That was my point though: around The Oval area and other stretches of road, busses now have to join cars and motorcycles on one lane while bicycles have a lane all to themselves. Somehow now even Busses are not important in TfL's eyes.
