hello, currently I have a Ground floor/basement space available in lovely house. Ideally looking for Someone to take the whole space but happy to look at two professional friends or couples. Price negotiable if taking whole space. ?1000 including all bills if taking whole basement. Looking to rent as of now.

Two large double rooms one features a lovely fireplace and is the larger of the two. The other benefits from lots of natural light and backs directly onto the garden a nice place to study. You have your own fully fitted bathroom complete with toilet, bath, shower and sink.

The property also features a lovely old English green garden which you have direct access too from the basement. This would work well for pet owners and I would be more than happy to take on someone with a beloved pet.

Kitchen is the only shared area but has all the mod cons - oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The house itself is very arty full of books and items from around the world. It's very much a home nothing clinical about it.

Hello, I am a 30 year old Born and bred Londoner. I'm always striving to make the house homely as possible and because It's my family home it benefits from a very welcoming atmosphere.

It would be perfect for you if you like the idea of a laid back atmosphere no pressure and somewhere to feel relaxed in your own space.

For anyone who doesn't know the area- East Dulwich is a picturesque and cosmopolitan area. You're well connected with transport links, buses, trains and tube. East Dulwich station is 15 mins and north Dulwich 10 mins , Kings college hospital is a mere 15 mins away with the 185,40,176 just 5 mins from the house.

    • again - all of this is inherited - but where was the outrage from you before Labour were elected? How is it down to a new Labour govt that the far right have a massive boost?   I think there is a lot of accurate points In this post - but ultimately the response to that (and I'm not accusing you of responding differently - but we can see how others are) should be " huh - they are finding their feet lets see what the next reshuffle brings"  - rather than millions of people demanding an immediate election on spurious grounds of "damaging the economy" when those same people accused likes of me of "project fear" over Brexit
    • I said they are peering into the hole - not in it....yet!!! 😉 I think they know what they want to do but they also know how difficult it is going to be to do it and they knew it before the election but, clearly, could not verbalise the challenge ahead. They lent in way too much on the "we're not that lot and that lot are awful". They used the 24 hour news and social cycle to keep driving home that message - they got social media cheerleaders to ram home the point for them and call out the evil of Tory behaviour and drown out any semblance of rational election debate. Labour got into power and then started behaving exactly how the Tories had been and suddenly those very tactics are now being played back to them and now they are being drowned out. I am not convinced Labour have enough talent on the front benches in this particular cabinet to turn this around - I fear they lack the experience and leadership to be able to try and navigate the choppy waters they are facing - some them act like councillors rather than cabinet members. I watch so many media interviews with various cabinet ministers and they look out of their depth and seem utterly clueless on what line they should be pitching - it's car crash interview after car crash interview and the more they keep using the "after 14 years of Tory rule" as an excuse for everything, a bit like the "I am a son of a toolmaker" people will think they are all spin and no substance.
