I just find it weird that someone chooses to nit-pick and meta-post within 4 minutes displaying an irrationally powerful need to enforce their own vision of tidy forum posting ettiquette.

Might I suggest a therapeutic visit here.

The thing is that reporting it to the council seems a bit extreme. I don't want the people whose dog this is prosecuted I just want the barking to stop. It has been going on all morning and I can't be in the front part of my house. If I knew which house it was coming from I might drop round a note as I can't imagine they know that this is what the dog does when they're out.

The 'Argh!!!! ' was quoted from you.

There was no aggression in my post or abuse

aimed at you personally or otherwise.

It was just a good old honest and simple question.

And also a pointer to a thread which you had

previously posted, on a very similar problem.

Which i might add, some might have considered helpful

as it may have revealed an answer to your OP.

That's all.

:)

Thank you for your kind words of wisdom.

I reported a similar theing to our noise team 0207 525 5777 and they were very helpful, it took 2 seperate visits but they served an abatement order on the spot. It never happened again! Try it>
