part-time childcare needed from Sept

Recommended Posts

Are you looking for a flexible nanny job from beginning of September? We are a friendly family between Herne Hill & North Dulwich with two girls, currently 12 and 10, both of whom will be at secondary school from September and we need to change our child care arrangements. We are therefore looking for after school care 4 days a week from 4.30 (they get a coach home ? no need to pick up) to 6.30/6.45 and also for full time, all day (10 hours), care for 4 days a week in the school holidays.

Requirement to supervise homework and prepare snack/tea each evening. Occasionally might need to meet from school in Sydenham if they are finishing late after sports match etc (car is available if driver). During the school holidays it would suit someone who is happy to go on trips out, parks, picnics, shopping etc and just basically have fun (with the odd nag about doing some homework!). Children are close in age and get on well.

I would calculate the salary on an annualised hours basis to regulate monthly pay if wanted. 5 weeks paid holiday (to coincide with school holidays). Could suit someone who is studying or who has another part time job etc to fit around their hours. Will also consider nanny with own baby. Would prefer Mon-Thurs but can do another combination of 4 days if necessary so please do ask. Occasional babysitting available if interested but not essential. Will pay annual Ofsted fee if registered.

References and CRB check required. Please PM me for more details.

thanks

    • Never had a problem with Poundland - good selection of stock and shop is clean. I have always found staff helpful, pleasant and go out of their way to try and help. one in Barnstaple in Devon is I believe closing down- shop is not laid out as well, cramped and not a pleasant experience. Sure there is going to be major complaints when it closes. if the shop closes in East Dulwich, without doubt  local community will complain - not everyone can afford prices that other shops charge.
    • Many years ago whilst a male friend was canvassing during election time, he knocked on a door in Crystal Palace Road. Was greeted by a lady in glamorous (according to him) nightwear  who offered her services in exchange for voting for a particular candidate!  Our friend, who must have been in his 60s at that point , politely declined. We all had a good laugh over this and every time people went canvassing for years afterwards, they were regaled with this story.
    • Noticed that  Car Giant is listed as being in White City.  Prefer somewhere in South London/Bromley area as have difficulty accessing some public transport due to mobility issues.  The body work of my car is not brilliant and this could cause it to fail MOT
