Dr Bike will fix your bike for free May 4th

Recommended Posts

The doctor returns after his winter sleep. He will be under Peckham Arch (south end of Surrey Canal Path) ably assisted by his team of elves from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Every other Thursday.

The doctor will tighten your brakes, pump up your tyres and do technical things to your gears which will stop them clicking and jumping and not feeling quite right. He will also give wise advice on whether larger scale or more serious things need doing.

The elves have supplies of propaganda, and info on local cycling matters aka gossip. They don?t have maps because TfL haven?t reprinted them. Drop by and give them a try.

    • Part of the problem the PO has is it has become all things to all people.  It has become vital for a small group of people in providing banking and other in person services. But sadly that means for many others it is off putting to use.  I need to use it a few times a year to send a parcel.  The opening  hours are such it is hard (basically impossible) for me to use it during the week, I don't want to use my Saturday morning  or lunch hour queuing up behind loads of people.  So I use the Royal Mail's online parecel service instead.
