The Vauxhall that looks like it's been in a crash? I'm not sure if it's really abandoned, the fact that it's on a pair of little ramps would seem to indicate that somebody's having a go at some DIY repairs.

But I don't know how long it's been there. By all means report it to the council if you think it's really abandoned.

I was driving past the car a few weeks ago, a cat sitting on top and a man inside doing whatever. I asked if it was his cat, he said yes every time he is out doing things to his car, she likes to be there! So I'm quite sure it isn't dumped as he must live near to car to have his cat sitting on top . Hope this helps.

Have you done a mot and tax check on it ?

If it had these then it's more than likely NOT abandoned, as others have said it does appear someone is working on it so maybe leave a note on it first before reporting it as that would only be the polite thing to do

    • Naaah, it's rubbish - it would be a change of use so would need planning. https://www.planningdirect.co.uk/planningappeals/affordable-planning-applications/change-of-use/commercial-to-takeaway-change-of-use There's not enough footfall for a McDonalds, anyway, and they're quite picky about their sites
    • So let's never do anything that might improve an area, because it will just be dragged down to the level of what's presently there? Is that what you are saying? I don't have the time or the inclination to do the research, but I'm pretty sure that I have read  that when people who had lived in a very run down area  were given  nice surroundings, they appreciated and looked after them.
