N Dulwich station doesn't want to sell you tickets

Today, the machine at the entrance was out of order. (Had it been working it wouldn't have wanted your new pound coins or new fivers anyway.) The ticket office was also closed. This is the age of the train......

New TFL ticket machines in Waterloo station will not read my credit card and don't give change. There are no more ticket cashiers, the counters have been replaced with machines. This is the age of automation...

I once had to go all the way to Victoria to talk to a human being. No-one at E Dulwich, no-one at Denmark Hill and the machines being repaired

I got a reply, which - rather standardly - said the matter was being looked into and that the company was etc that the usual level of service, etc etc...

Paper fivers cease to be usable very soon, so I hope that the machines are adapted and working soon.
