[Moved from businesses forum]

We are looking for a housekeeper/nanny to manage the house and help with our two boys, including bedtimes in particular. Preferred times 2.30pm ? 7.30pm (although we can be a bit flexible), 3 days per week (15 hours total). Flexible as to which days. We are based at the south end of Nunhead, off Ivydale Road.

Duties to include housekeeping/daily general cleaning/tidying, plus some assistance with childcare for our two boys (8.m.o. and 2.5 y.o.). The boys are at childcare for 1 or 2 of the days. The other days Claire is home.

Housekeeping to include:

- tidying

- managing all washing (whether in house or laundromat)

- cooking when time allows (for the boys and us)

- changing/making beds

- daily general cleaning (kitchen worktops/sweeping) ? cleaner comes weekly so proper cleaning not required.

- Running errands (must have drivers licence)

Childcare to include:

- helping with pick-up, bath time and bedtime for both boys

- other help with kids as necessary on days they?re home

Would be good if you?re able to be flexible as to timing to an extent, and also available for some babysitting from time to time.

DBS certificate, references preferred.

Start ASAP.

Please PM me if you?re interested.

Thanks

James

    • They seem to think that it's residents are green. As in naive that is given the amount of dishonesty and cobblers that they come out with. Its like buzzword bingo. Sustainable, organic, green, stake holders, local jobs blah blah blah. Absolute cobblers and box ticking.
    • Surely it has to be "the knocking shop" (1860s slang) as it is the oldest profession around 😅 It always surprised me that one used to operate on Bawdale Road, just around the corner from the old police station (so I've been told 🤭)
    • The closing date from the survey is in two days.
    • I don't think the baths have been "in continuous operation"? They were closed for renovation. I can't remember exactly when, but I remember some "discussion" on here because the pool  could/should have been made longer and/or deeper, and wasn't. Itv certainly has a relatively shallow deep end, and it's a pity that people can't dive
