Locally based Freelance PA

I am a Locally-based Virtual Assistant, offering bespoke PA services for small businesses, entrepreneurs and Freelancers. If you?re in need of some specially tailored support with running your business ? I can help!

For those who are new to the term - a Virtual Assistant is kind of like a freelance PA. Small business owners and consultants etc outsource some of their tasks like admin, competitor or client research, chasing invoices etc so they have more time to focus on running their business.

Although many people still haven't heard of the term, Virtual Assistants are becoming increasingly popular as they save their clients time and money. They just hire the VA as and when they need them, they only pay for the hours they work and they don't need to go through all the trouble of hiring an employee.

So, if you are struggling to make time to meet your business needs and think you could use some help - please get in touch! Further details including contact info are available via my website.

Hi Kate

I've seen your post on the EDF and we could do with someone like you for our business. We are a young start up architecture and design practice between myself and my sister Kirsty called Studio Mills.

We are in need of admin/book keeping assistance. So someone to keep track of our expenses (we use Quickbooks) and record our receipts. We would also benefit from meeting minutes writing up and general admin tasks.

Is this something you could provide and if so what is your fee? Where are you based?

Kind regards

Jayne

    • This was posted last Saturday by Jb. "No the collections were separate, although both funds transferred to his brother, Asif. You could pop in and speak to his brother if you wanted more details but I believe they plan to fund a well in Africa. Thanks if you donated, the brothers were very grateful and touched."
    • it would seem very likely that they are trying it on if it their area - ie not a responsibility of the freehold. The freehold would cover the building structure (walls, foundation, roof) - possibly freeholder would have responsibility for the front door - if so, does the freeholder have the windows? Usually grey area in a lease so you could look at past instances - who has paid for window replacement, front door to be painted etc?
    • Thanks for these comments. Very helpful. The porch and hallway shows on their lease plan but we share the freehold together.
    • Ok.  You have bigger problems than this s20 notice.  How have you let one freeholder dominate things.  You both have the equal right to decide how to manage the communal areas of the property.  I would get some legal advice on your duties and rights as a freeholder and then request a meeting  to reset the relationship. Also as noted in other posts is the front yard and door actually the responsibility of the freeholder.  These are all questions you should ask in your S20 response.
