Recommended Posts

MUDDY BOOTS Children's outdoor Nature Group at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve. Every Monday and Friday 10-11.30am during term time. (recommended for pre-schoolers 14m upwards)

We'll be digging for worms tomorrow to see how many we can find..the smallest we can find.. and the largest.

We'll be learning about why they are pretty incredible creatures. Does a worm really grow into two worms when cut in half?

We'll also be making a wormery. If you'd like to take yours home, then bring an empty plastic bottle with you.

There's also digging, watering and mud painting on offer in the garden. We have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and then we head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

It's hands on, engaging, relaxing, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are currently drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road. We will break for Easter holidays but will confirm these dates closer to the time.

Prices:

It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available. Siblings under 14m go free.
