Seabag
You probably deserved it, but can't face the fact that youre bang to rightsSo bin it, then let us know how you get on. It'll double in value, then in the cold light of day you can ask yourself"Why didn't I just pay it on the day?" Sally Eva
If it's from the council and you're bang to rights, just pay it. As said above; otherwise it will double and keep doubling until bailiffs turn up on your doorstepif it's from a private parking company on private land such as a supermarket car park then look here:https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/parking-tickets/appealing-parking-tickets/appealing-a-parking-ticket/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/145943-parking-charge-notice/#findComment-1115588 Share on other sites

Louisa
Parking charges from the council are usually banged to rights unless you have a genuine reason such as unclear signage. If I were you, take it on the chin as Seabag suggests, sooner rather than later. Louisa. teddyboy23
Disagree with the views if its from the council they got you bang to rights.had Quite a few dodgy ones over the years. Last one just over a year ago.parked in a Quite side street with no parking restrictions.parked up against a brickwall no pavement.came back to my car .parking ticket on car .reason I got ticket was Im parked adjacent to a dropped kerb.anyway bought cheap digital camera ?50 photos printed in asda ?6_50 sent recorded delivery ?6_00 photos were of my car and brick wall plus my appeal .so spent ?62_50.to appeal a ?65 ticket .and until this day never had any reply.any way pay your fine or appeal. ianr
brambles Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Thanks Sally it's a private car park > No signs up That's very unusual nowadays imo for a car park that's issuing charge notices. Where is it?If there is no notice, there is most probably no contract.
