I should have known better than to start a thread with the word 'fox' in it:-) Anyway, I won't be doing anything cruel, and will be starting with an old blue recycling box, which, if the milkman put the lid on properly, should be secure.

Terracotta pots is also a great suggestion.

Thank you and I will leave you to the animal welfare debate. Live and let live but don't drink doorstep milk!
