I've been overwhelmed with responses/queries about this blueberry. As many of you have asked the same questions, I am going to deal with them all here. Apologies for not responding to individual queries - I can't cope with them all.

Yes I am in ED. A few mins. from station.

Yes, it's quite heavy. Can be lifted by one strong person (not me as I'm not long back from hospital).

No, it doesn't need another plant to pollinate.

Yes, it is in bud now.

Yes it's in a pot. Has always been in a pot. Originally bought in a 10cm pot some 8 years ago and has regularly been potted on. In large pot now.

Yes I have pruned it over the years. Last prune was last year, so won't need pruning for a while.

Yes it is outside!

Yes it needs "special" soil; ericaceous.

Takes sun or partial shade - full sun best in my experience.
