Recommended Posts

Join us for a very special event including drinks, live music and your chance to meet local author and business woman Becca Teers, as she officially launches her new book, "Unlimited."

Becca Teers is an author, therapist, mind transformational expert, speaker, trainer, and consultant. She is the founder of Healthy Habits: Hypnosis for positive change, in which she uses mind management techniques including cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to help others achieve their full potential and live happy, fulfilled, exciting lives.

With over 20 years experience, Becca shares her insights in her first book, "Unlimited: 7 Habits To Unleash Your Full Potential & Get the Life You Want," with the aim to help others to overcome their own limitations and live happy, successful, fulfilled lives.

This book takes valuable information from Becca?s London-based practice Healthy Habits, which helps individuals with mindset management, transforming limiting beliefs, combating phobias, and making positive health and lifestyle changes such as weight loss, cutting down on alcohol, and giving up smoking.

The book launch party is free to attend, including a complementary glass of prosecco on arrival, live music and your chance to buy a copy of Becca's new book. ?1 from every book sold will go directly to the Drive Forward Foundation, a charity that supports young care leavers, encouraging them to take charge of their futures and achieve their career goals. Becca is especially passionate about mentoring and teaching strategies to youngsters so they can learn essential life skills such as goal-setting, confidence-building, planning, belief, and focus. We are delighted that Drive Forward will also be joining us for the event.

Tickets are fee but with a limited number available so be quick to snap up yours early. Books will be available to purchase on the night for ?12.99 cash only - with Becca more than happy to sign a copy.

    • Possibly a little specialist (and the ultimate eventual clothes horse unless you're into fitness!) but we have the Pivot: PIVOT | Ultimate Space-Saving Bed & Home Gym Solution It's a full weight Olympic squat rack which pulls down from the wall into a double/king bed. When we bought it as a Kickstarter project it was less expensive than a murphy bed from places like the Wall Bed Company, though this may no longer be the case. Super easy to put together ourselves.
    • The skatepark has been a great use of a derelict site, but surely the point is that that site should not have been allowed (and should not continue to be allowed) to have become derelict in the first place. As someone who couldn't live much closer to the Grove Tavern, I would welcome any redevelopment efforts. The current state of the pub is untenable, wasteful and ultimately an embarrassment for the local area.  The concerns mentioned about young people and the lack of public space for them to spend time are totally valid. And I agree, its very inspiring that a group of teenagers have built the skate park and created something out of nothing. But that shouldn't prevent the site being turned into something that is of utility to the whole community - whether that be housing, supermarkets or a pub/restaurant.
