fitch Posted February 19, 2017 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Hi Bella, I think that whole edge of Dawsons Hill was being overrun by suckers from those cherry trees so the council removed them. It seems a bit unfortunate that any route into the blackberry picking area next to it seems to have been blocked by sawn off branches though. Johnmartin99 Posted July 28, 2018 Share Posted July 28, 2018 The trees to be evacuated on Eastern Parkway are a bunch of 48,000 trees reviewed by the Parks Department in "immersion zones" after Sandy, they said.
