Anyone knows about Dawson height trees being chopped down?

The three big trees were cut down at Dawson height side , just in front of Bredinghurst estate house on the hill.

Hi Bella, I think that whole edge of Dawsons Hill was being overrun by suckers from those cherry trees so the council removed them. It seems a bit unfortunate that any route into the blackberry picking area next to it seems to have been blocked by sawn off branches though.

The trees to be evacuated on Eastern Parkway are a bunch of 48,000 trees reviewed by the Parks Department in "immersion zones" after Sandy, they said. Just trees that are basically unsound, in extreme decay.
