Good question jeanne . Not answered on Southwark's recycling page .


Personally I put it in the green bin . I tend to look for the triangular recycling mark on stuff I'm not sure about ( like the trays that meat comes in ) and I don't see it I assume it's not recylable .


Hope someone comes along with the answer .

Thanks for that, really useful. Seems such a waste though (excuse the pun).

From my research it seems it is possible to recycle but no councils want to collect it yet. Can't even find a London based private recycling depot.

Anyone else out there could make use of it before it goes to waste?
