fordybee
Hi, we are considering getting a dog and are keen on labradoodles, at least on paper. But we don't know anyone with one, nor do we have any breeder recommendations. Does anyone have a doodle and is willing to meet (with dog) for a walk / chat in the park or got any advice on how best to embark on this....Thanks! Lynne
I have two different friends with them and they (the dogs, not the friends) have grown very big and very very energetic Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/142315-labradoodle-advice/#findComment-1104303 Share on other sites
fordybee
Thanks Lynne, you can get different sizes - standard are the big ones and we're thinking more medium. Will be doing some careful checking of breeders and their dogs re temperament as well. Thanks for your post. ratty
Every Labradoodle I have ever met has been a fruitcake! Fun though. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/142315-labradoodle-advice/#findComment-1106105 Share on other sites
Lynne
Yes, I think my "very energetic" was code for insane and incapable of sitting still. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/142315-labradoodle-advice/#findComment-1106127 Share on other sites

Jess85
They are bigger than people may expect and the fruitcake comparison seems fitting! red devil
If you like the 'fruitcake' element but would prefer a smaller dog, consider a Cockerpoo, mad as a box of frogs...
