Horniman sandpit - open or closed?

Does anyone know if the sandpit opposite the Horniman musuem is now shut for the winter? Thanks a lot

open as far as i can tell, we went there this afternoon and there is still sand, I don't know if they removed it last year..?

It was very quiet though, prob as it was freezing cold and all the sane people were at home :o)

I don't think it closes at all. I live very close and can't remember it being closed but it probably is very unappealing in the winter.
