I am a 22 year old nanny, living in Sydenham in South East London and looking for the perfect family here.

I am highly experienced, and confident working with and catering for the many physical and emotional needs

of very young babies/children. I have over 4 years of experience in childcare, working as a nanny and live-in Au

Pair; in London, France, (where I cared for 2 very little ones, 1 year old and a 3 year old baby boys) as well as teaching english Italy.

I am fully DBS checked, and have my paediatric first aid certificate.

I am musically trained, grade 8 and grade 6 on piano and trumpet, and would be more than happy to incorporate music into my care duties in whatever way you see fit, as I strongly believe that music is a brilliant tool for life, and a way of creatively enhancing the worlds of children of all ages, and their development as human beings.

I am available Mon-Fri and of course for ad hoc babysits, and would be happy to start ASAP (end of Feb/beginning of March 2017).

Please feel free to contact me to meet in person or via email for a CV or referees, my email is [email protected] if you require any further information.

Bridget Spencer :)

Dear Bridget,

I am looking for someone on Mondays for my two girls (2.5 and 10 months) - I realise that you are probably looking for a full time position, but given that many people go back to work 4 days a week, I thought I'd mention it in case it fitted with another job. We are in Camberwell, near Wells Way. Both musical and keen to promote the girls' natural interest in classical music too, hence my interest in your posting.

We also do need babysitters often and in fact we are looking for a babysitter this Saturday evening, so if you're interested, please get in touch - having no personal recommendation, I would prefer to meet beforehand though, if possible. My n umber is 07837372946.

Thanks,

Margaret

    • I don't mind getting the ball rolling, but there would have to be more organisers than just me 🤣 I've got more than enough to do already. Also as I often don't recognise faces or remember names, I wouldn't be an ideal person (though in the old days, we had labels with our forum names on, if memory serves)  Sorry admin, I've gone well off topic.
    • There was a brief discussion on the Lounge about the good old days of the Forum and the drinks where people with differing views seemed to get on fine with each other.  Can't find it or I would give you the link @Earl Aelfheah or @Sephiroth I think one of you had said something along these lines.  Yes go for it Sue!
