Hi

A quick question about Forest Hill pools please... If I want to take my baby with me, can I just go for any "General Swim" sessions? I didn't see any specific "Baby swim" sessions...

Also, is the pool warm enough for babies?

If the pool is not very warm, any other pool suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks xx

I don't know about the small pool but the main pool is not warm enough for babies, I wouldn't think. The baby pool (Learner pool on here http://www5.fusion-lifestyle.com/centres/Forest_Hill_Pools/activity/Swimming) is very popular so worth a try. Also the baby pool at The Bridget Sydenham is shallow and warm, and the one at Beckenham Spa likewise.
We've been swimming in the main pool with our 20 month old son several times. First time was probably when he was just a over a year old. It's not as hot as the baby pool but he's always enjoyed it. There's usually plenty of other families there too when the general swim session is on. Definitely worth a shot.

Companies House have taken steps to close you twice. Your annual loss in trading is increasing each year.  You have had two directors resign in 2022 leaving only 1 in place which isn't the best if you want good governance- but that also stops you from being able to raise funds from trusts and foundations.
    • There's still a massive shortage of student housing in London regardless of short term fluctuations - just look at how expensive it is now and what a barrier it is to mobility! What are people worried about anyway? That there will be so few students in London that a private landlord has to cut rents and makes lower profits? Oh no! 😂
    • This is probably a stupid question, sorry. Could you contact all the surgeries whose catchment area you are in (and haven't already found wanting) and ask them directly if they have GPs with the knowledge and experience you need? Because I imagine there are not many people using this forum who can help, though I may be wrong.
    • I don't understand this, probably my fault. I thought the Crown offices were going to close completely and the  services they provided were going to be moved to local shops with space for a sub post office. But if the Post Office is  seeking franchisees for the Crown offices, that implies that the offices themselves would stay. But if they are not profitable for the Post Office, how could they become profitable for a franchisee?
