Angelina Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 yes - in order to be labeled 'free range' - chickens only have to be outside for a very short portion of their lives.It does not at all indicate that they are allowed outside - it just means they are not caged. Unfortunately thiz is not comigfrom questioning what this status means but from the WHO and DEFRA aho have not felt the need to step in regarding the dishonesty behind this status.
