This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly flat share in leafy Forest Hill/East Dulwich border. Located only a stone's throw away from the Horniman Museum and Gardens, this modernised Victorian flat has many local amenities, including bars, tons of cafes, and supermarkets, on its doorstep in Forest Hill and the neighbouring East Dulwich area. Forest Hill overground station is within 5 minutes walking distance, providing quick access to both Central and East London. Easy bus access to Peckham, East Dulwich, Camberwell, and Brixton.

The flat itself benefits from an elevated location away from the main high street, ensuring a tranquil environment to live in. It was modernised to a high standard prior to us moving in last year with a washing machine and dryer in the flat as well as a shared living room. The flat has high ceilings throughout and plenty of common area space (including three shared closets for games, cleaning supplies, tools, etc.). There's also space for private parking.

The double bedroom is spacious with lots of natural light and fully furnished with double bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, mirror, and wardrobe.

You'd be living with one female and two males, so ideally we would like find another female to balance out the household. You would be living with Paula (Spanish - nurse who likes dancing and good food), Jordan (English - data analyst into sports and good conversation) and Maik (German - Trainee English Teacher into travel and yoga). Collectively, our interests include cooking/eating, racquet sports, fitness, dancing, socialising, board games, film nights, bowling, reading, etc.

We all get on incredibly well and are looking for an easy going person around a similar age (22-30) to enjoy this gorgeous property with us.

The double bedroom is ?670 per month. There's a ?500 deposit payable to the landlord for each bedroom, but there are no other agency fees. Bills are an additional ?30-40 per month which covers gas, electricity, water, and internet.

We are flexible on move in dates.

Look forward to hearing from you.

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
