1 Bed Flat Wanted

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

Joss (me) and Daf need a place to live in the next two months. We are ideally looking for a 1 bed in the vicinity but a studio would be fine given the right dimensions (and no fold down beds that might crush you in your sleep).

We are both 26, I'm a Business & Legal Affairs Exec and Daf works in charity events. More wholesome than yuppie (we hope).

We know there's the possibility of spareroom/gumtree but the EDF always has a nice comradely feel about it, it would be good to find something via this platform.

Kind regards

Joss

1st floor flat is available for another set of respectful short term tenants. Pref short let for now. I always rent direct, and form a good relationship with my tenants, and am looking for a shorter term arrangement, ideally beginning before August.

Lovely garden view out of the kitchen and bedroom windows .

Newly refurbished. Not finished for roughly the next week.

There is one double sized bedroom with decent built in wardrobes and the lounge is a good size. Free on street parking, so shouldn't be a problem.

The rent is ?1,400 per calendar month inclusive of gas, and the deposit is same. Sorry not open for negotiation.

The keeping of pets, and smoking is not permitted inside the property.

If you want more details or wish to view, please get in touch.

I have a modern 1st floor flat overlooking quiet internal courtyard at Altima Court on East Dulwich Road. Very bright with large windows, newly decorated. Secure off street parking behind locked gate. Double bedroom, bathroom with shower, large open plan kitchen/ living room, Bosch oven and hob, washer dryer, dish washer, large fridge freezer.

Monthly rent ?1,250 plus Council Tax and electricity. No other charges. Flat available immediately. If interested, will send more photos.

    • Sephiroth I've slightly amended my above post btw, though numbers stay the same.  I've just realised that I was looking at the plain text JSON version.  Your post alerted me to the fact that I'm also offered (at least within Firefox) a 'raw data' version, which I take it is what you're looking at.  I think that was probably the only representation available at Referendum time;  I think I cobbled a script to extract data from it. Do see if you have access to the plain text version, which I think is certainly user-friendlier for most purposes.
    • Who is the person that signed it from South Georgia Islands! 😉 I think the distribution of non-UK looks as you would expect on the basis of UK ex-pats living abroad but the only one that stood out was the 31 responses from China and I did wonder whether UK government websites would be readily accessible in China - although the 422 responses from Hong Kong may validate that they must be! Whatever the true situation the fact that this petition is getting such traction suggests the government are struggling to cut through - which they are. But clearly, there will not be an election for many years yet, but I think this does go to show that electorates (not only in the UK) are very impatient right now and that is a massive risk to any party in power and if, like Labour, you get elected on the change ticket and you affect change that the majority think help them or the country then you're in for a really, really rough ride. Labour is really struggling to sell it's vision and get people on the journey with them and for every story we are going to read about pensioners not able to heat their homes or farmers protesting about inheritance tax then the worse it will become. Next we are going to start hearing about the impact of the budget on small (and big) businesses and that will likely impact growth and our ability to control inflation and if that does happen then Rachel Reeves has a big problem on her hands (and Keir is likely to start looking for a scapegoat).
    • Not extreme views on this thread, just hard to swallow for some, hey Sephiroth
    • Around 15% voted right and far right at the last election in our constituency.  Green had a good vote, some no doubt being a protest, and if it had been tighter many would have kept with Labour.  So not a lot around here would agree with some of the more extreme views on this thread.
