Good local Fish and Chip shop?

I would also give a vote to Kennedys Steatham though only used a couple of times. We usually go to Ken's Fish Bar in Half-Moon Lane (N.Dulwich end) and surprised to see only 1 other rec for this. There's good portions and brother travels over from W.Dulwich to collect.

No-one's mentioned potentially the best fish and chip shop in London, which is just down the road. Brockley Rock in Brockley:

I always make the journey there to collect our fish and chips, and it's always worth it.

I thought Olley's was pretty poor, and Rose's not bad at all, but Brockley Rock is the winner for me.

Yes, the guy in Emily's is really lovely, but the chips are awful.

Shame as it's my local too (not that I eat fish and chips very often).
