melbourne groover
We went to the one above Lloyds on Northcross - I think they are called the Northcross rd dental practice. The dentist we saw was a really lovely Irish lady, but I can't remember her name sorry... Was not traumatic at all! hoipolloi
There is a fantastic and very lovely lady at the East Dulwich Dental Clinic which is just by the Herne Tavern. My girls love her, she counts their teddies' teeth etc and they get a big sticker. I think her name might be Bonnie or something? I am sure she has been mentioned on a previous thread somewhere Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/14096-nice-female-dentist-for-a-four-year-old/#findComment-378256 Share on other sites

BB100
Lydia Pink in Blackheath was voted Young Dentist of the year and works with street children in Peru in her spare time. She's great. Belle
sorry to hijack EMC - but what age is best to start at the dentist? I just can't imagine getting my toddler to lie back and open his mouth obediently - it's hard enough to get him to stay still for temperature taking etc on doctor's visits. Ruth_Baldock
Hi Belle,Mum started to take us when we were 18 months+! Her Dad is a dentist, so we all went to get our teeth checked every 3 months! (not fun for me, I'm terrified).Didn't work, I've had 4 taken out including ALL my wisdom teeth and have loads of fillings. whoops! mikes bikes
NORTHCROSS ARE ROUGH! I ASKED THEM TO BE CAREFULL WITH MY DAUGHTERS LEFT INNER LIP DUE TO AN ULCER - IT WAS NOWHERE NEAR ANYTHING NEEDING DONE BUT THEY MANAGED TO SOMEHOW RUB AGAINST IT. DAUGHTER DISTRAUGHT, MUM VERY UNHAPPY!!! mumof3girlies
Hema at Townley Road Dental Practice is lovely, I am a bit dentist-phobic after a brutal wisdom teeth extraction under local anaesthetic, but she was great with me and my daughters.
