Honey... either taken as is with a spoon (if you can manage it that way) or add it to a hot drink.


Salt, citrus and event anything soluble that creates a "fizz" won't be comfortable. Avoid alcohol, chocolate, spicy food etc. Makes you feel crap but it doesn't last forever!

Don't do honey with cold water, potentially very dangerous


Turmeric is a good throat soother, very effective
