They are a combination of pain relievers and anti-inflammatory so it will make you feel better and also reduce the swelling associated with sore throat. KalamityKel Posted February 2, 2017 Share Posted February 2, 2017 Honey... either taken as is with a spoon (if you can manage it that way) or add it to a hot drink.Salt, citrus and event anything soluble that creates a "fizz" won't be comfortable. Avoid alcohol, chocolate, spicy food etc. Makes you feel crap but it doesn't last forever!
