Dear prospective parent/s

I am a post graduate student learning about infant development with the British Psychotherapy Foundation.

A central part of my course is an infant observation, which involves finding a family who wouldn't mind me coming to spend time observing them with their baby once a week, for an hour a time, during the first year of the baby's life (excluding holidays ? and flexible according to your needs).

During the observation nothing is required of you as a family other than to follow what you would normally do with your baby. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that agreeing to this will require considerable generosity on the part of any prospective parent/s.

I would however be really grateful for the opportunity it would give me to learn about child development in this unique way.
