Bishberro
The brake cable on my Bugaboo Cameleon snapped today. It's two and a half years old so not under warranty any more (we bought it from John Lewis). Obviously it's dangerous without a brake but not sure where to take it to be fixed. Tried the local bike shop today but they said they wouldn't do it so not sure where else to try. Gussy
Maybe a long shot but you could try pushing it with JL. My chassis broke and I can't remember if it was out of warranty....it was over a year after I got it. But I rang up and said I expected better, put the pressure on that its not safe with my baby and they agreed to send it back to Bugaboo for repair. Could be worth a try? Saffron
Buggy Pit Stop should be able to do it. http://www.buggypitstop.co.uk/default.htmlOnly drawback is that I think they are a small company, so sometimes they get busy and don't get back to you immediately. You just have to pester them a bit. They are very nice and don't seem to mind. (I pestered them a lot, but they were the only place that came through with the spares I needed for my Bugaboo!) Helen GV
i changed my own, its a bit fiddly but do-able if you can get a new brake. i took one off a broken chassis, maybe someone on here has one in storage in case JL doesn't help Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13936-anyone-got-any-idea-about-where-i-can-take-my-broken-bugaboo-brake-to-be-fixed/#findComment-375326 Share on other sites
ARobinson
We had a broken brake cable for our secondhand bugaboo frog, and rang the London Bugaboo office who transferred us direct to the Amsterdam office. They were hugely helpful and sent us a new brake cable free of charge! Give it a go - got nothing to lose! Good luck Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13936-anyone-got-any-idea-about-where-i-can-take-my-broken-bugaboo-brake-to-be-fixed/#findComment-375342 Share on other sites
