I am a fully qualified English teacher currently working as Subject Coordinator of English Literature at a sixth-form college in South East London. I am a passionate and enthusiastic practitioner who has experience of teaching across the age and ability range. I provide sessions specifically tailored to the individual and can tutor A Level students in: English Literature, English Language and English Language/Literature (combined). I also have a successful track record in preparing students for GCSE English examinations. The cost is ?30 per hour for A Level students and ?25 per hour for GCSE students.   It’s not as good as the Peckham branch of course, but it’s okay. The staff are as pleasant to me as any of the chains on the street.

  Love Substack! It’s home to a wide range of writers/subject matters. I subscribe to a couple of writers that I rate (Ottolenghi has recently started a weekly column on there and local food writer Helen Graves is on it too.) With a paid subscription you get the full article/blog but there’s also plenty of content that’s essentially free. I regard it as my own personal ‘magazine’ of writers curated by me!
