Double bedroom with ensuite North Dulwich

Hi EDF,

I'm letting out a large double room with ensuite in my five bedroom house in the North Dulwich triangle (4 minutes walk to North Dulwich Station (London Bridge) and 9 minutes walk to Herne Hill (Brixton/Victoria). The P4 (to brixton) 42 (the city)and 37 (Peckham/East Dulwich)bus stop is a one minute walk.

The room is private in the top part of the house. It is airy and quiet with a comfortable double bed. There is s shower, basin and loo separated by a glass brick wall. The room currently has a large desk for those who are looking to study or bring work home with them. (it can be removed) There's a double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Ideally, this would suit an independent professional or mature student. (non-smoker...single occupancy only)

Monday - Friday (?655pcm) or full time (?775pcm) which includes all bills.

I work in the media and am also doing a Masters. I have two small children (aged 6). We are a jolly lot and love taking advantage of the outdoors spaces around us - Sunray park, just a minute from the front door and Brockwell Park and lido a short walk away.

Please get in touch by PM.

Hi Vicky

We are looking for someone to help out with after school child care for our 12 year old daughter. School pick ups, cook evening meal etc. Hours vary but would be needed Mon to Friday.

Would you be free to take this on and we can offer you a lovely room in East Dulwich/Forest Hill? I guess it will depend on your hours currently working as a nanny? Just a thought, let us know if you are interested to know more?

Best

Nick and Marianne

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
