Two bed furnished garden flat offered for short term let from April

My wife and I are looking to let our flat on a short term basis from early April.

We are spending some time abroad with family before a more permanent move and we are looking for someone locally who needs a short rental. This would probably suit a couple or young family who need to move out of their own place during building work and who just need somewhere to move to locally. Alternatively it could be suited for visiting in-laws or other family members who want to be nearby.

It is a spacious Victorian garden flat right on Lordship Lane so very convenient for all the shops and restaurants on the lane. As this would be an informal short term rental we would be letting it with most of our possessions and all our furniture but we would clear away all clutter and leave wardrobe space. It would not suit tenants bringing their own furniture and we couldn't accommodate smokers or people bringing pets. We would however need the tenants to look after our cats - two adorable sibling shorthairs

Ideally we would arrange a let for 6-10 weeks and the dates are flexible. We would be happy to negotiate a sensible price based on the length of stay so if you are interested, please reply to this thread and we can message you with further details. Thanks!

Hi - we are in need of a short term let and would be really interested. We are having building works carried out and so timings are perfect. Very happy to look after your cats too. We have two cats of our own but they are going to family while we move out. Please do call me on the mobile 07787 118931 so we can chat further and perhaps arrange a visit. Thank you. Ella

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
