Hello,

I am looking for an aupair for my brother's family in France, in Brittany.

The position would be for a period of 6 months to 1 year in a familly with two girls of 7 and 5 years old.

It would be a full time position and to have a driving licence is essential. A car will be available.

One of the main aspect of the position is to teach the children English (more on a conversational level) as the family intends to come and live in English in the next 2 years. The family wants to be able to speak English in the evening around the family table, bath time, playing etc..

Taking the children to school and pick them up could be one of the main aspect of this position, doing some chipping and a bit of house cleaning would also be involved. Of what I can say, the house work will not be the main caracter of this position. A basic standard wage is envisaged but will be discussed during the interview process.

All I say is that the family is very nice, open minded kind and generous.

The position can start as soon as possible.

I will be interviewing all the candidates so you can call me on: 0208 693 0817 or 07840303103 or email me to: [email protected]

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any question.

Best wishes

Nathalie

    • Good luck, don't think you would find anyone selling controllers on here 🤣 What controller you using atm?
    • Four little goslings by the pond,  with their mum and dad keeping a close watch on them yesterday! It seems very early? Apparently they were born last week, and there were five then 😭 Let's hope the rest of them escape what I presume was the heron. Sorry just realised this should be on the nature watch thread, maybe admin could move it? Apologies.
    • I'm generally in favour and supportive of events like Gala, but this issue around vehicular access to the site does seem a bit concerning. Essentially, they are going to build a fenced off road/trackway right accross the cricket and Gaelic football pitches... is that right?  Hopefully they have a way of making that work which isn't too disruptive, but I can't envisage what that might be.
    • Did you sort it or return it to John Lewis in the end ?
