katie1997
Yeah, this is serious - we need to impose height restrictions on the sale of these dangerous weapons. Immediately. tomchance
There should be a bylaw banning those enormous golfing umbrellas from pavements, or a requirement to "brolly-share" with at least three other people if you want to take up that much space! louisiana
Etiquette is to raise your umbrella above head height of passers by, and perhaps to tip your umbrella handle towards those next to you (and hence the top away from them). Preferably both. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13793-umbrella-etiquette/#findComment-372310 Share on other sites
Peckwich
I find people who walk and carry folded up golf umbrellas horizontally and in a crowded place, incredibly inconsiderate. HAL9000
A real man wouldn't carry an umbrella - he'd wear a hat.I wear a hat - so it must be true. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13793-umbrella-etiquette/#findComment-372356 Share on other sites

Tarot
Take the material off of an old umberella, cut a hole in it and use it over shoulders for cutting/dying hair.
