As Sunday mornings are jam packed for many families, with sports commitments and so on, we are exploring whether there's enough interest from local parents to organise a monthly child friendly service (45 minutes long) at the Copleston Church from 4 or 4.30pm.

Rev Paul has discussed the idea with the church elders, who are keen to explore the level of interest from parents and local people.

Please PM me if this plan sounds of interest.

Thanks Michael

We are reviewing the viability of organising monthly child & family friendly service at the Copleston Church,

on late Sunday afternoon from 4 or 4.30pm.

Do PM me if this sounds of interest as coordinating with Rev Paul Collier to test local interest.

Thanks,

Michael

    • I'm thinking of going to India at Christmas and it's been 18 years since I last visited. So long ago, I can hardly remember where I went (I was there for 8 weeks...). Has anyone been to the South recently? I'm thinking Kerala, as we fancy some beach action.
    • If it's not bolted down it gets stolen, terrible. Some people have no respect for others property.  Hope you reported it to the Police and got a crime reference number, what did they say?
    • Try pavement, this is London, not the US. The Mayor increased his proportion of council tax in 2025/26 to pay for "more" haha PC's but my understanding is they were cut not increased. A rouse by the Mayor to take more and give nothing in return.  Troubling and far too common here.  Just be careful where you get it out
