Two double rooms available on Crystal Palace Road (houseshare) ?380PCM

We have a ground floor room available in our shared house from 9th January and a top floor room from 1st Feb. We are all professionals and are ideally looking for a fellow professional to join us.

Rent is ?380 per calendar month, bills come to about ?100 per month each.

There are three of us (3 females) plus the 2 new people (5 in total) . We each have a room and have individual contracts with the private landlord, but we share the living room, kitchen, shower room and upstairs bathroom. We also have a large garden.

We are well placed for public transport being 15 minutes walk from East Dulwich station where national rail runs into London Bridge (approx 15 minutes journey time). In the opposite direction Wimbledon and Croydon are about 25 minutes away.

We're about 20 minutes walk to Peckham Rye station where the London Overground and national rail runs into London.

Peckham Rye Park is 5 minutes walk away and there are several buses that go into different parts of London from round about (185,176,40,63,12,78).

Lordship Lane is the next road over and there are numerous pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a Co-Op and Sainsbury nearby, with a Marks and Spencer due to open very soon. Just opposite is the council run gym and swimming pool, and the cinema is also just round the corner.

We are looking for two individual people to join as there is not quite enough room for a couple and that person would look to view the house as their home, rather than just a room. We have a cleaner each Saturday but do our own washing up in the week. We like to keep tidy and not let things build up, but the odd bowl or cup being left overnight doesn't bother anyone.

We are all friendly and will watch TV in the evenings and occasionally cook for each other too. We enjoy going out for food, the pub or pub quizzes, although our working schedules mean we don't do it as often as we'd like to. However, we all have our own friends in London and live separate lives too. The only big 'no' is that we can't have pets in the house.

If you are easy going, considerate and friendly you'd be the ideal flatmate.

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
