Tarot
An elderly neighbour who has a tiny Yorkshire terrier, asked me to find out where she can walk her dog safely. The lady is frightened to walk it on the Rye, as she heard it was laced with poison. Also she is frightened her pet will be attacked by other dogs, She used to go in a fenced off area apparently, but hasnt been since July. Anyone got an answer? louisiana
Dawson's Hill is quite fun for dogs (a bit wilder than a park), plus there's rarely anyone there. Smaller than the Rye, of course, but then it's a small dog! Access from Dunstan's Rd southern end. louisiana
I'm mystified as to why someone would think the Rye "is laced with poison" though. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13621-dog-walking/#findComment-368262 Share on other sites
waynetta
SMALL dog owners. Too lazy to take the little fellow out for a walk? Simply place him on a record player turntable and tie his lead to the arm. Set it away at 33 rpm for a gentle stroll, 45 rpm for a good walk and 78 rpm for a jog.
