New Year's Eve in Dulwich

I keep forgetting to ask! Is there still a gathering happening in the tall flats up off Lordship Lane, (amended to say Dawson's Heights!) seeing the fireworks and greeting the new year communally?

You can't see them in town unless you have a ticket - the buildings are in the way (sorry, you probably know that!)

There's a lovely view (fog permitting) and a nice community atmosphere with lots of well wrapped-up local families on the green hill in front of Dawson Heights but it can be a bit muddy so recommend wellies (and sparklers) all round. Happy New Year EDF-ers!

It is a nice spot to view them and not at all busy - perhaps a few dozen/score or so, at least that was the case in the past few years.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to Dawsons hill this year. Did anyone go? How was it?
