Unfortunately it goes back to investment and priorities. Again as we know water and power should not be for profit. The guys on the ground are doing their best. But the desire to pay huge dividends to stake holders/CEOs often drives the internal economy in private companies. It's a fast buck at our expense. Water bills have gone up by about 40%in one year. It is crazy.

Personally, I would withhold money / unacceptable all round. Everywhere you look in London, something dug up byTW - well not literally everywhere but you know what I mean -
The thing is, their staff seem to be very thinly spread across a wide area. When our road had one of the leaks, the first TW guy on the scene (who had come to assess the situation) had come from miles away. I can't remember where now, but it was nowhere near ED, not even in Southwark. And he said the reason the leak couldn't be immediately fixed was because the people who would do it were presently dealing with other emergencies (well, not strictly emergencies).
