Hi

I'm expecting my first babies in December and would love to meet other mum to be's in the area, not necessarily expecting twins but if anyone is expecting twins it would be nice to swap notes. I live in West Dulwich but anyone in the surrounding area would be good.

If anyone fancies a cake and tea please let me know or just a wander around the park.

Google the Dulwich and District Twins club - you'll meet loads of other people in the same boat as you and I made lots of good friends through the club who are still great friend over 16 years later (their nearly new sales are fantastic) - it is so useful to know people who are going through the same experience - - having twins as your first babies is very different from having a singleton!

definitely the local twins club. i had twins and without the club i would never have met the support network of mums who really understood what i was going through. it's a great club with a toddler group, park meet ups, social events in the evenings for parents and annual events such as summer picnic and xmas party. along with a newsletter, new website currently being designed, a dedicated support network and other one off events it is a local gem.

yes, i was a member and as the poster says above i still keep in touch with many of the mums that i met.

congratulation and all the best.

forgot to say it's a baby and toddler meet up on tuesdays. have fun! when my 2 were 3 years old i was hooked up with an expecting mum and we have built a great friendship up over the past 2 years. as i mention above it's key having people who understand your unique take on the experience.

again congratulations!

    • Not sure about changing hands but the Peckham Rye one is open and hasn’t had any random closures. Our child is very happy there but there was a resolved Ofsted complaint half way through last year.  Things don’t look good for the Devon nursery owned by the same company - looks like loads of issues with Ofsted which can be seen in its latest report.
