Projector, screen and projectionist needed

I want to show a DVD to a group, and need to borrow projector, screen and possibly someone to do the projection. Any ideas? Helpful links? If I had kept the tel no I once had of a Paradiso Film Club operator that would have been a good start ....

Is it possible to show at a venue that has equipment? I think the Crown & Greyhound have a projector set-up upstairs, for example.

Thank you, I shall go and enquire at The Crown and Greyhoud. Because this screening is in aid of Christian Aid I don't really want to pay for a venue as it'll cut into donations, but I could of course pay something for loan of projector etc if they would agree to that.

I *think* you can use the upstairs room (where the projector/screen are) free, but you'll need to check that, and check they have all the equipment there. (They will of course get bar takings anyway.)

But not on a Monday evening - the chess club use the upstairs room that evening (the big one)
