MUDDY BOOTS Childrens Outdoor Nature Group at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve, Forest Hill (SE233SZ). Drop in sessions every Monday and Friday 10-11.30.

Two more weeks of Muddy Boots until the Christmas break! Last session is Monday 19th Dec.

At MUDDY BOOTS on Monday 12th Dec we'll be thinking about how these tiny garden birds survive the cold winter. We'll be looking at some real birds nests and then making bird feeders to help our feathered friends in this frosty weather.

And then to warm ourselves up we'll have some hot chocolate, stories and songs at basecamp.

Muddy Boots is hands-on, engaging, relaxed, fun, and all outside in the fresh air of the lovely nature reserve.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They're drop in so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available

    • What is also happening - I don't know about Sainsbury's as I no longer shop there, but certainly in other supermarkets and with some manufacturers - is that products remain the same price but the quality or quantity is reduced. Just one example: I buy Waitrose Essential tissues, only because they have plain boxes with no branding once they are in use, and I like the colours (blue for the large ones and mauve  for the smaller ones). The tissues in the mauve box have recently become so thin that they disintegrate virtually immediately you use them. Same with Cushelle quilted toilet rolls. Well, they don't disintegrate, which would be revolting, but they have also got so thin that it's hardly worth buying the quilted ones. And as for  PG Tips ...... 🤬

    • I used No-Flies a couple of years ago. They were great. Loads of recommendations on here.
