I have a new laptop and most annoyingly it doesn't have a port which is compatible with the Ivy House projector. Although it would have been with the Old Nun's Head projector (which I had to buy an adapter for for my old laptop, grrrrr).

I need an HDMI to VGA adapter. Maplins say they only have one kind, and it is ?50!!!!

I can get one from Amazon but not sure it would be the right one or would come in time.

Does anybody by any remote chance have one I could borrow and try out by Thursday at the latest? It's the last time I can try it out before Sunday, which is when I need it for, as the Ivy House is busy after that.

Keeping fingers crossed someone can help!

ETA: It has to be compatible with Windows 10. I think. I don't understand these things :(

In which case I don't see any point in rescanning (not that it'll do any harm). I've not noticed any signal degradation at all, TV or BBC radio, so it sounds as if it's probably intermittent.  Ah -  I did notice a couple of brief  R4 breaks yesterday, and assumed they were studio glitches.  I don't think either lasted more than a minute.
