Laptop/tablet suitable for digital art wanted

I'm looking for a laptop that can be used for digital art (as well as for general purposes) or will be compatible with a tablet for digital art - and/or for the tablet! It's for my daughter who's studying art, but will also need it for other work, games etc. Can anyone help? Thanks.

  As a note of recommendation, I did this course in Rye Oak Centre, Peckham and gained so much from it. Was such a lovely, supportive group.
