For sale: Lovely Vintage Solid Oak Writing Desk/Bureaux with drop down writing area, working locks and a key.

This is a rare, stylish and well preserved writing bureaux with all the distinctive quality design and handcrafted features of pre-1920s - possibly Edwardian.

It features a drop down writing flap, beneath are 2 full width drawers. Beautiful ornaments in the front and all around.

This bureaux has all the distinctive quality design features of a Edwardian piece, however is unmarked - with a soft mellow golden oak finish, superbly finished with gorgeously ornamented drawers? fronts, legs and leather padding to the drop down writing surface. Brass handles, locks, hinges etc. Locks are working and comes with a key. There are some scratches and small gaps between wooden planks on the sides, but overall the bureau is well made and solid.
