Traffic lights Bellenden rd

Does anyone know anything about the temporary traffic lights on Bellenden Road - any idea how long they'll be there for? Tailback for almost half an hour this evening and no sign of any roadworks being carried out. What with the bridge down at Camberwell Grove it's near impossible to get from Camberwell to East Dulwich at the moment!

Mental. Queues going back to Peckham Road last night. Some parking suspensions close to the 3 way control might've been a good idea...

From walking past yesterday the work seems to be going at the top of Choumert Road not Bellenden Road.

Why did they have to put lights on Bellenden? no need traffic should just just flow through as usual.

Parking suspensions would not be needed on any of the roads.

Seems they are making life difficult on these roads, any thing to do with the Bellenden Road consultation? to manufacture problems to push what they want.

As others have said, massive queues last night. All the feeder roads, eg Chadwick, Lyndhurst, blocked. Whoever's responsible needs to sort it out quickly as the situation is exacerbated by the Camberwell Grove closure

yea tonight there is a filled in trench 1m long extending from the corner of the junction between Choumert and Bellenden rd. It only needs a small bit of tarmac on. That's all. Not even in the road or owt. They could have finished that off today and removed the lights or not had them in the first place. Overkill to say the least.

Walked pass today not a workman in sight. Looks like more cones have been placed, that's it for today I guess. Out of interest is it Conway?

Ts like they just out some lights out for a laugh. No discernable reason at all.
