Went to the Actress tonight, gerat atmosphere, great range of beer and cider on tap, loved the wine on tap and very reasonable prices. Pizza was excellent too. One niggle was the time spent waiting to be served early on but otherwise a great time was had by all of my merry footy gals. In fact I think we were the last to be thrown out lol.

Seconded! indeed minuted! Lovely drinking establishment, I didnt feel too much like a pub. We ordered some pizza which was great and really tasty. What I think was really great was the house wine was good, and the only other place I have been where the house wine was in line with my expectations of how a good house wine should be (ie representing the house!) is one of gordon ramsey's house wine!

good place to drink and great subtle background music too.
